Dominic Laverty

Dominic was appointed Consultant in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2020 and at Gloucester Royal Hospital in 2024, and a is a GDC registered specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Prosthodontics.
He works across all facets of Restorative Dentistry but has a special interest in treatment and management of patients with head and neck cancer and patients with genetic abnormalities.
He qualified from Liverpool University in 2011 and undertook a number of core training posts across the North-West, Midlands and South Wales before commencing specialty training at Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2015. During training Dominic completed a Master of Research (MRes) at the University of Birmingham in 2020 and was awarded the Membership of Prosthodontics, RCS Ed in 2019, and FDS Rest Dent also in 2019.
Dominic is heavily involved in postgraduate education and training and is an educational supervisor for a Dental core trainee and Speciality training registrar in Restorative Dentistry at Birmingham Dental Hospital.
